Approval for Solarization and Equipment Procurement at Key Health Facilities in Kano State

The Kano State Hospitals Management Board is pleased to announce the approval for the solarization and purchase of essential medical equipment for Fagwalawa Cottage, Ajingi General Hospital, and Doguwa General Hospital, funded by the Kano Health Trust Fund (KHETFUND) under the leadership of the Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Fatima Usman Zaharaddeen.

This vital intervention represents yet another milestone in the ongoing transformation of the health sector under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Executive Governor of Kano State.
Through initiatives such as this, the state government continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to reviving, modernizing, and strengthening healthcare delivery across all levels. The solarization project will ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical hospital operations, while the new equipment will enhance diagnostic and treatment capacities ultimately improving patient care and outcomes.
