Hospitals Management Board Announces End of Year Awards for Excellence in Service Delivery

The Executive Secretary, Kano State Hospitals Management Board, Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda, has announced the presentation of trophies and cash prizes to recognize outstanding performance across the state’s secondary health facilities.

The awards will include, a trophy and cash prize for the facility that emerges as the Best Performing Hospital of the Year, cash prize for the Most Outstanding Staff of the Year as well as cash prize for the Most Outstanding Chief Medical Director (CMD) or Zonal Director (ZD) of the year.

For the facility category, the selection criteria will include effective coordination and management, Patient satisfaction, Availability of essential drugs, Sanitation and environmental hygiene, and Compliance with the policies of the Drug Revolving Fund (DRF).

A dedicated committee has been constituted to conduct the assessment exercise under the direct supervision of the Executive Secretary, Dr. Mansur Mudi Nagoda.

This initiative is part of the Board’s continuous efforts to promote excellence, accountability, and improved healthcare service delivery across all state-owned secondary health facilities, in alignment with the vision and commitment of His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, towards building a better and healthier Kano State.
